The Challenge: Digitizing Drinking Water in Critical Environments

In 2024, GF Piping Systems took a strategic step forward: to modernize this valuable tool by migrating the legacy system to Mendix, the low-code development platform that enables the creation of powerful, agile, and scalable enterprise applications.

This is how the new Hycleen Automation System (Hycleen AS) was born: developed in collaboration with Incentro, the application is built on Mendix, with integration of third-party cloud services and the hardware device firmware, making full use of the platform’s capabilities to deliver:

• Centralized monitoring of system status: temperatures, flow rates, valves, purge cycles.
• Intelligent automation of processes such as hydraulic balancing and hygienic flushing.
• Real-time interaction with the physical system through advanced MQTT message integration.
