Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

Cloud Services

Cloud services let businesses access IT resources, like storage, servers, databases, software, and analytics, entirely online without owning or maintaining physical hardware. Instead of buying and managing your own infrastructure, you simply use what you need, when you need it.

Imagine you need to store important files and run a specific software application. When you use the Cloud, you're "renting" storage and services from a massive, secure facility (a giant data center, like Google Cloud); which is way more handy and flexible than buying and maintaining a file cabinet (server or hard drive) and a computer with specific software in your office.
