Britam is a leading, diversified financial services group, with operations in over seven countries in Africa. It is crucial for such a diverse company to keep up with the latest innovations.

Migrating from outdated on premise solutions, that limit employees to working from their desk, to G Suite on the Cloud was an innovation that would save a lot of costs and reduce security breaches in the long run.

The challenge

Together: anywhere, anytime

Life insurance, pension funds and asset management: Britam has it all. The one thing they didn’t have was an efficient collaboration solution. Employees struggled to collaborate across countries, there was no backup or archive, and many other problems.

Their employees couldn’t do their job efficiently. That is no way to work. If only there was a system where collaboration could be done through the Cloud: G Suite!

The process

A plan to get started

Incentro mapped out the improvements Britam needed using Enterprise Collaboration. Implementation was done using Incentro’s Change Management. By analysing the company and training the employees in working with and adopting the new solution.

Since the transition to G Suite and the Cloud in 2013, Britam’s 3,800 users now enjoy multiple entreprise tools that work as a foundation of innovation, driving collaboration and improving the productivity of their teams. They are now able to focus on customer satisfaction, while giving the IT team full visibility of security insights and reports on adoption and usage. Britam can truly rely on G Suite and has even achieved recognition as an innovative company.
