Incentro has a typical culture that has a strong effect on the organisation. This culture is largely determined by our people. Incentro people are very autonomous in a non-hierarchical environment. We select our people to fit in such an environment, we look for specialists that uphold our core values by themselves. These core values are simple: specialism, ambition and fun. In our vision people that enjoy fulfilling their ambitions in their respective specialties are by definition successful.
Incentro was founded in 1996, under the name of VLC. We started out as a specialist in the Business Intelligence area, specifically based on SAS solutions. Later on, web content management services were added to the portfolio, and gradually became dominant. Since 2006, the Business Intelligence domain has been revived, and in 2007 Enterprise Content Management (including Enterprise Search) was added.
Since then, we have bundled these expertise domains under the Enterprise Information Management umbrella. That has brought enormous growth to Incentro. In the Netherlands, we quadrupled the number of offices, the number of consultants grew even faster. We then opened our nearshore office in Spain. Because of this international expansion, we decided that in 2011 we needed a new name. VLC became Incentro.
Incentro is a powerful player in the Dutch market. With 150 consultants, we are able to make a difference for many of our customers.
